This course has been developed by Land Quality Management Ltd, the Industrial members of the RTDF (Remediation Technologies Development Forum) Bioremediation of Chlorinated Solvents Consortium, Shell Global Solutions and GeoSyntec Consultants Ltd using original material developed by RTDF, BP and Shell Global Solutions.  The original training material developed by the RTDF Bioremediation of Chlorinated Solvents Consortium was realised and delivered with the support and collaboration of the Interstate Technologies Regulatory Co-operation (ITRC) working group of the Western Governor’s Association.

 

The work was funded by the Energy Institute (formerly the Institute of Petroleum), UK AEA, and the Environment Agency of England and Wales.

 

The RTDF Bioremediation Consortium wishes to acknowledge and thank the 436th Air Lift Wing, Dover AFB, DE for hosting the field demonstration described. Financial support for the field operations was provided by the Department of Energy's Office of Science and Technology.  Regulatory guidance and oversight was provided by Delaware's Dept of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, and by the U.S. EPA Region 3.
